How the WBC Works
Season Bets
Before lights out on race one, lock in your season-long predictions — champion, top rookie, constructor standings, and more. Think of it as your pre-season qualifying lap.
Race Bets
Every race weekend, call your pole sitter, winner, fastest lap, fastest pit crew, and more before qualifying drops the green flag. Miss the deadline? That's a DNS.
Leaderboard
Points are tallied automatically as real results come in. Track your championship position on the live standings — and watch your mates sweat.
WBC Sporting Regulations
Deadlines Are Final
All race bets lock when qualifying starts. No stewards' enquiry, no appeal — if you miss the deadline, your picks stay empty. Set an alarm like it's a 6 AM race start.
One Pick Per Category
Each category gets a single pick. No hedging your bets like a team running different strategies on each car. Your selection auto-saves and can be changed anytime before the deadline.
Points Are Fixed
Each category has a set point value — no bonus points for confidence, no double-or-nothing. Bonus categories (like fastest lap time) award 1 point to the closest guess. Precision matters.
Sprint Weekends
Sprint races unlock an extra bet — sprint winner. Sprint bets have their own deadline, because the FIA apparently decided one race per weekend wasn't stressful enough.
Results Are Official
Results are pulled automatically from the official F1 data feed. The league admin can override if needed, but unlike the real FIA, we try not to make it up as we go.

per person, per season — your grid fee
- Due before lights out on race one
- Your picks are locked until the admin confirms payment — no pay, no play
- Venmo, Zelle, or cash — coordinate with the league admin
Payouts
top 3 take home from the prize pool
- 1st Place — takes the rest of the pool (the bigger the grid, the bigger the trophy)
- 2nd Place — $200
- 3rd Place — gets their $100 buy-in back (the consolation podium)
